it was great for 360 and was a good choice for on additon to ps3 games, massive monster fights, great enviornment and graphics, really cool machines that you can operate to fight the enemies called VS suits, most fly and have massive gun attactchmets. def i good choice price is very low as well only downside is no run fast button which gets annoying

when i got this game. the game play needs to do little better on the ps3 verion. but there is a few ways to get all almost all the levels to get your thermal energy up to 9999 is to start out strong take every each step like one enemies at a time and the online is really good because it doesn't matter which console you get for ps3 or xbox 360 or you can get pr hits verion because that gots the new stuffs...

Just to add a "1 star" review.
That was missing.
The game?
Not Bad at all... But you know Capcom... Or they write a awsome story or a complete crap like that one..
Gameplay is nice and the whole Mech stuff is cool.

Once again Capcom proves why its one of the best video game companies out there. Lost Planet is a non-stop action from the begining to the end! The story mode is absolutely brilliant, it will make you want to finish the game in one day just to see how it ends! After you complete story mode the Online fan begins! It haves a very addictive online modes and also you can Level Up. Also PS3 owners, we get the same stuff as 360 owners but we also get the additional extras and updates that 360 owners paid for em! Its a great deal for a great game! I highly recomend this game to anyone who loves action games!

I was a bit surprised to see IGN and other gaming sites give this game lower ratings. While not the most impressive game in the world, it is definitely more fun than they made it out to be.
Lost Planet definitely has some downsides, however, these cons do not make the game worthy of avoiding.
For example, one of the most annoying parts of Lost Planet is the fact that a 5 gigabyte installation of content is required before you can play. Another downside is that the same button is used to exit your vehicle as to pick up weapons for that vehicle, meaning you could be trying to pick up some much needed ammo and instead find yourself jumping out of your vehicle directly into harms way. And, despite the massive content installation, there are still a few points in the game where frames will be dropped and the screen will hang up a bit. However, these things I believe gamers will find to be forgivable.
Now for the pros...Gameplay for one. I found the game to be a unique and rather entertaining mix of first/third-person action and mech-style combat. Parts of the game you will play on foot while others will be impossible without a VS (mech.) Also, the graphics are pretty nice, granted this game did come out a while ago (and it's a 360 port...) so they are not as impressive as more recent releases. The cutscenes, however, I found to be very nice.
Overall, I found Lost Planet to be a worthwhile gaming experience, despite the flaws. The originality of the game definitely makes it worth checking out.
