Took my 9 year old a couple hours to build and he enjoyed every minute of it. He really enjoys the lego and this one is very sturdy, sledom breaks bits off. It has a lot of cool little stash spots for the clones and guns etc...

My son saved his allowance and earnigns for half a year to get this but I have to state its one of the best in the lego star-wars line. It is fairly advanced design so I would not recommend it for novice lego users but he was absorbed for two solid days putting it together. (Most parents would like that part best :)) After completing it because it comes with more of the actual action figures than most kits he has gotten weeks and weeks of play time having battles across his bedroom floor. So overall though pricey I would give it a thumbs up if you have a lego-maniac in your house too.

We bought this for my 8 yr. old son who is Lego crazy. He enjoyed putting it together and it stays together better than most of the other Star Wars Lego sets. It took him three afternoons after school to put it together and he is still playing with it and it hasn't fallen apart. Some of the others fall apart pretty soon after building and go into the "lego box" which causes frustration on both our parts as these kits are so expensive.

You can save $100 just by buying through Lego. The photos are the same so you're not getting anything different. I don't get it.

I bought this as a gift for my grandson on his 11th birthday. He immediately started to put it together, and finished about 4 hours later.He loves to put things together and had experience with legos before. I think the pleasure of putting it together may outway the joy of playing with it. But when he got home and used it with the other similar legos I'm sure he is enjoying it. It is educational in the value of learning how to put things together and solve problems as well as organization.
