Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - My daughters New Favorite Thing
I hit the jackpot when i gave this to my little girl for christmas. She 2 and loves her moon. The age range for this is supposed to be 6 and up but for a night light for a younger child it is fantastic. It comes on when the lights go off and turns off on its own after an hour. When she get older shell probably enjoy the educational part of this moon more.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Wonderful For all Ages
This toy has it all. It is educational, interesting and life like. We purchased it for my 3 year old daughter who has a fascination with the moon and stars. This is perfect. She loves turning it on at bed time and using it for a nightlight. It has an automatic shut off switch which is nice. Just a great toy.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Moon in my room
Younger children may at first be disappointed that they don't play with it...it is to watch. I would present it as a special lamp right from the start. My daughters really loved it. I thought it might be a bit over the top but it isn't...It gives a very gentle light show and is good for kids who get hyper at bedtime...as does my oldest child ( 7).
We had a great time with it last night. It made a special end to Christmas day.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Very nice idea but eats batteries way too fast...
Get some rechargable batteries for this because you'll need them when you realise it eats through 4 (Duracell) AAs every two/three weeks.

A disappointment considering the innovative design of this great educational night light.

Still recommended though.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great nightlight but be gentle!
This is an awsome idea and awesome nightlight. It looks so real with the lights off. My son is 4 and sleeps in our room so I hung it on our wall. I am working on getting him back into his own room and when he takes the moon for his room I plan on getting another for ours! Only one word of caution. My little one really wanted to be hands on with it when he opened it for his birthday- well he dropped it and it stopped working! It would turn on to full moon only and we could not get it to cycle through the phases. But aside from having to have it replaced (and making it hands off) It has been a great purchase.
