My brother, the uncle of my two sons, purchased this item for Christams. In the excitement of testing this item out they realized the battery backing was not able to be opened. The screw casing was stripped! No big deal, I thought, I would just call the company. They are not willing to replace the prodect unless I pay for shipping. They recomeded that I take it to a local store to replace knowing that it was purchased over 1000 miles away and not at a chain store! Passing the buck. I then asked to speak to a super visor and she repeated the same mantra, "sorry company policey." I never go to the lengths that I am now, but I am tired of companies not performing the basic duties of customer satisfaction. They want me to go to the post office and mail it to them at which time they will determine whose fault it is and then mail me a new one. When I asked if there was any way around said policy the manager told me I could write a letter. So here it is.

Just like what was advertized. I teach in a high school & it is mounted on my cinder block wall. It moves & demos the moon phases well. Fun for all ages. I would recommend it to one & all.

Although she is only 20 months old, she loves the Moon in my Room
She comes and gets me, asking for the remote, then she likes to cycle through the phases of the moon using the remote.
When summer comes we will go outside and watch the real moon.

My twin boys, age 2.5, love this moon. It helps them relax as they fall asleep. We set it on the automatic moon phase and for thirty minutes it cycles through the phases. It is enough time for even my slow to fall asleep guy to drift off.

I bought the Moon in My Room for my grandson's seventh birthday. He's scared of the dark ... just at home, of course. So the moon would be the ultimate nightlight! With a remote control. Major success. Grandson Alex thinks it's utterly cool. Twelve phases of the moon with a click of the remote. Best part is it turns off by itself after 30 minutes so batteries aren't wasted.
