This was a gift for my nephew who lives in another state. I received information that Anthony was really anxious to see the moon on his ceiling, and upset they had no batteries in the fridge. Soon batteries arrived and he was able to turn on the 'Moon in his Room' and thought it was really cool! A fun and educational way to learn about that bright light in the night sky.

Uncle Milton's Moon is really cool. I used it as a decoration in my son's outer space themed room. We set it on automatic right before bed time, so he is able to watch the moon go through all it's phases as he goes to sleep each night.
I found the instructions a bit lacking. It would be beneficial to have the instructions for the remote control in writing, rather than on the CD that comes in the box.
The CD offers interesting facts about the moon, as well as perspectives on historical and cultural understandings of the moon.
The only negative I can find is that thhe CD says that the moon comes on automatically when the room gets dark, but we have not witnessed that occur.

Purchased the Moon for my 3 yr old Grandson. He thinks it is great. A great unique nightlight and we discuss how the moon works! I am considering one for each of the other Grandkids as it is worth the money. A unique gift that lasts a long time. Only suggestion is to keep the remote in a separate place as it is too easy to misplace.

My 2 year old son goes absolutely nuts when he sees the Moon out in the sky at night or even during the day. So when I came across this while browsing I was instantly sold. We use it as his night light. Every night when we put him to bed he askes for his Moon. The only function we ever use is the night light mode. It stays on long enough for him to fall asleep to it. Great product and definitely worth the money (which isnt much at all).

This is the second "Moon in my Room" for our house. Purchased this one after my little one tossed the original remote down the stairs and it broke. The replacement remote w/ shipping cost almost as much as another moon so we purchased another moon kit and use the 1 remote for both moons. Now both kids have one and they LOVE it!
