Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Not worth your time or money
Reading the other reviews, I can't understand how anyone could like this product. Putting it together was nearly impossible with the terrible instructions, and the pieces didn't go together very well(some, not at all). Once together, it didn't work. The car hasn't even made it around the track once, despite my son's best efforts. Don't waste your time, money, or energy on this inferior waste of a product.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great toy for the money
I think I paid $17 for this last summer - it was half off. I just put it together last night - wasn't too bad (30 minutes - taking my time). After reading other comments, I'm surprised at how well ours works. My son (6) played with it for around 1 hour last night with no problems. Granted, the only cars that seem to work well on it are Dirt Track McQueen (which it comes with) and regular Lightening McQueen. I will say this, when i was putting it together, I thought there is no way this is going to work. I sat there and watched Dirt Track McQueen go at least 30 times around before falling off the track. I was actually quite amazed at how well it worked. We did try some other cars and they didn't do well around the sharp curve. I would imagine all the McQueens will work fine. I'm happy with it and my son loves it so far. I'm not sure how the batteries will hold up. Takes 2 D's. I will say that he likes the Piston Cup 500 race track better - mainly because you can use just about any of the cars on it. That would be my only drawback, so far, on this item.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - JUNK ALERT!!!
I'm totally disappointed with this toy & so is my son! An uncle purchased this for him for Christmas & he was so excited because he loves the "Cars" movie & all of his other "Cars" toys. Stick to Hot Wheels people! This toy won't stay together, doesn't look like the picture on the box when it is assembled & won't work properly. I've read other reviews & I'm glad to hear that some people's children enjoy the toy but the one we have is HORRIBLE! I may try to return it because it's THAT BAD!!!

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - a piece of junk
I got this for the holiday for my son last year. We threw it out shortly after. It falls apart easily and makes a lot of noise. The most enjoyment he got out of this piece of junk was taking all of the pieces I spent forever putting together apart. I can NOT believe this thing has went up to nearly $80 in price. That is out of control! I probably spent $25 last year, and THAT wasn't even worth it. Seriously people, do not waste your money on this thing.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Terribly disappointing!!!!!!
My son got this as a gift and it was hard to put together and even harder to KEEP together!! It's flimsy and the cars keep falling off of the track. It's annoyingly loud too. My son kept asking me to put it back together approximately every 5 minutes! Needless to say, I threw it out with the rest of the garbage! Good riddance.
