This toy broke before the novelty wore off literally lasted 20 minutes before the flash stopped working. No rough treatment just simply stopped working.

From the picture, I thought this would be bigger, but it wasn't. It works just as promised though. I used it in the classroom, and it got the reactions I was hoping for! My students really enjoy having this product in the classroom. It's easy for them to hold and use, and I don't see it breaking in the NEAR future. Again, the only gripe I have is the size, it's just too small for what I thought.

My son really wanted this shadow toy after playing with it at a friend's house. We saw it in a toy store for about $10 more. It probably wouldn't have been worth that, but it is worth the $16 that Amazon charges. Both my children, ages 9 and 11, have had loads of fun with it. They have shadow copied everything from simple shapes to one of the family cats. Just hang it over a door in a closet or bathroom and have fun! I have one worry, which is that the green screen will rip, but my children say it's really sturdy.

Uncle Milton's Shadow Magic is simply a glow-in-the-dark panel. It's very durable, and rolls up or folds for easy storage. It is a generous size and includes two break-down rods to allow the screen to hang nice and straight.
You really need a bright, focused light in order to get the kind of effect indicated on the box (with sharply-defined shadows), and that's hard to come by. However, my son and I have had a lot of fun simply drawing on it with an ultraviolet penlight that was a part of an invisible-ink message kit he received separately.
How much fun you have with a glow-in-the-dark screen is purely dependent on your own imagination. We're having fun!

I was highly skeptical about this product but bought it as a gift anyway. It really works! You have to be in a dark room, but the effect is amazing. I bought it for an 11 year old but it would be just as much fun for high school and college students.
