If you've played the others this game is a classic. I briefly played WC1 when it released in 1991 or something but my pC was terribly weak and I stupidly took it back, I thought at that time I would NEVER EVER EVER be able to afford another PC EVER! (never say never) anyway it was one of my many regrets. I have played WC2 and it was great! The dialogue(though not voice acted) was as good as Strike Commander and the ships flew better if you can't use a joystick(and who can use a DOS joystick in Windows these days eh?) don't waste money on the gimicky "Kilrathi Saga" or the "Film can" WC#3 as they don't even have all the stuff meaning they are not retali versions at all.-in the case of the "Kilrathi Saga" they don't even work; as XP is the OS of today. Buy WC3 and the others separately, run it on DOSBOX 6.3-7.0 and you should do fine. You can get all WCs, Privateer, and Armada at reasonable rates from the sellers.

This has got to be the most inexpensive game I have ever bought.. the shiping was more than the game, and by far the most entertainment per penny Ive ever had!! An all animation space flyer that still gives me goose bumps. Great story line, lots of intrigue and even a love interest! Ive spent days playing this game .. its a true classic and who can forget the kilrathi theme song done on a midi...it still rings in my ear. Although I rated this one a 3 overall because of the old graphics, I am tempted to buy copies for all my friends for a holiday season gift, the story line and playability are still supurb. I gave it a 5 for fun..play it on XP with the dos emulator dosbox(google dosbox) loading directions for this game to dos box are at Wing Commander CIC just google it. Thank you Amazon
