We got this game as a gift and cannot believe how much fun it is. The game is perfect for adults and children of different abilities. We played it a family game night, with neighbors while waiting for an event, and even played the bible edition in Sunday school. The common thing about all these scenarios is that everyone had a great time. We highly recommend this game!

Our family played Apples to Apples on Christmas Eve and laughed our heads off. I would describe it as similar to the game called "Compatibility." However, when you play Compatibility, you have a partner. Everybody used to complain that when they were my partner, they would end up losing. With Apples to Apples, everyone plays on their own. That is, one person is a winner, not a team.

We opened this game from Santa on Christmas morning and played for 4 hours in the afternoon. It was really fun trying to convince, a.k.a. "lobby", the other players and the judge that your card was the best choice. While I don't think the game is for really young kids, I think it is a game for a family or a group that all will enjoy! Even the person who is not a board gamer will get in to it! Try it, you'll like it!

This game is great for all ages(second grade reading skills on up). Competition is geared more to trying to guess how the dealer or judge might think, than playing against other opponents. A great way to introduce new vocabulary, culture, and history. You can relax and have fun while playing. Highly recommeded.

Great for getting conversations going, amazing how the topics can relate (or not) to the cards that are dealt. And how you can try to convince the "Judge" that they do. Fast play makes this game a crowd pleaser!
