I got this toy for my son't first birthday and he really enjoys it. He learned quickly how to rock it. He loves to push all the buttons on it, and the sounds are not annoying yet. One of our friends has the same toy and her boys still play on it and the oldest is 4. It seems to be very durable and something that children will enjoy for a long time.

We bought this for our twin boys for Christmas. They were one and a half yrs old. They do like it and sit on it a lot, but really are already too big to rock on it. They like to pretend to be driving it instead. So, I do recommend it because they are very fond of it, but wish we had bought it for them when they were closer to one year old and would get more use out of it. At about 30 lbs they have pretty much outgrown it and we are getting them 10 inch bike for their second birthday.

My 11 month old grandson likes riding on the toy and can rock it himself. I like how the sound of the 'motor' running gets louder the faster the toy rocks however, the siren sound is too loud for my taste and my grandson's. He gets a little scared when the siren sound comes on. I think the toy is a bit too high priced for what you get -- a piece of molded plastic rocker with some cool buttons and sounds.

Bought this toy for our son's 1st birthday. It's a neat toy, but really needs a volume switch. Very loud and scared him every time he hit the siren button....so bad he would start crying. I tried cardboard and electrical tape over the speaker but still too loud. Ended up taking out the batteries. Now he gets on, rocks for 5 seconds, hits buttons that do nothing and gets off. Might be fun when he gets older and isnt so scared by loud noises. Also, one of the buttons makes the sound of a rioting crowd and a lady is heard screaming "Oh no!". Thought that was a little weird.

My son loves this, just enough noise and movement to make him happy. Unfortunately I bought this for use at the grandparents in another state---may buy one for here.
