I gave the game "Herd Your Horses" to my 9 year old niece. We have played it 3 times since opening it on Christmas Day. All family members who have played it have had a great time. We have played only the first, but found it easy and fun to play. I am glad that I found a board game for the family to enjoy.
It was intriguing to know that this game has "three" versions of play, AND we are being educated on "horsey" facts as we read the cards too.
Thanks for offering a great game for many ages to enjoy.

I bought this for my 6 year old horse-obsessed daughter. There are some intricacies she doesn't quite understand, and you have to keep the directions out and handy the whole time which is the only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars. It is now the hit of our Family Game Night - even my husband enjoys it!

This was a gift for my grandaughter. We were very pleased with the variety of options available with this game. It allows for solitary play as well as group play. And, there are three variations of the basic game under both the solitary and group play modes. The quality of the game board and the players is excellent. This is a great game for both younger and older children. And it is a fun family game.

My 6 year old daughter received this for Christmas last year & we have pretty much played it EVERY night since then! She even brings it with us when we travel to her grandparents for over-night visits. I highly recommend buying this for your horse-loving child.

For years I have tried to reproduce the fascinating world of horse breeding and training in my home, but this game makes it so much easier. The horses in the game are tiny and easily pushed around.
