Overall, I have to say this is a great game that kids of all ages enjoy. I recommend Dog Dice to anyone - whether you are a parent looking for a fun game for your children or an educator looking to expand your classroom repertoire of games. Get this game, you won't regret it!
As a speech-langauge pathologist in an elementary school, I am constantly looking for fun, durable, and educational games to use in therapy. Dog Dice has met all my requirements - at least to some degree. This game is one of the more popular games with my students. It is played by at least 3 kids four or five times a day. The kids love this game and don't realize that they are learning to attend to details as well as improving visual discrim skills. My one complaint is this - the bones are somewhat fragile and I've had to staple the middle of several to prolong their lives. Is there any way I can get some more to supplement the original supply? The dice have held up well and still have all the colors intact - unlike other people's dice.

We borrowed this game from a friend and the kids (ages 4 and 6) loved it. We played continuously. The problem is that after a few days, the pictures of the dogs painted on the dice begain to flake off. Within 2 weeks, the dice were totally unreadable. We used a magic marker and drew little pictures on the dice but the kids didn't like it after that. So, they quit playing with it and it has sat in the closet ever since. If you get it, you'd better cover the dice with clear tape before it is too late!!

Bought this game ......for my 6 yr old son. He loved it as well as his older brother (11) and sister (9). It is not complicated, requires no reading but you need to be attentive to the roll of the dice. Even us parents are having fun with it. Highly recommend.

I have a 4 & 1/2 year old who has adult siblings. Yet they are always ready to play a game of dog dice with him. It helped him to really observe and figure out the combination of the dice. Yet it was such fun. Especially when the winner yells "HOT DOG!" Having a dachsuhnd made us partial to stretch the dachshund.

We have played many games of this every night since Christmas, with no sign of the enthusiasm fading. Highly enjoyed by us parents as well 6 year old child!
