My 5&6 year olds played once and where very bored. not much of a challenge maybe with younger children would be good, but the bones you use to mark the board are small would need to be careful how young of a child would be palying.

I'm a counselor for children and have found that kids really take to this game. It's challenging enough to be fun. Talking about how the dogs get into trouble starts good conversations. It is short enough to play several times to give everyone more chances to win.

this is one of our 5 year old's favorite games. We love it as well. It is a type of BINGO game that doesn't use numbers. Any child will love this game! Thumbs UP!

Santa left this in our 3 year old daughters stocking (probably because he knew how much we enjoy Landlock, another Gamewright game). She had no trouble grasping the simple rules and yips with glee after every roll. The game has helped her with patience and turn taking and she was very happy to see that dogs can get into trouble too, not just 3 year olds. We've lost a few of the bone place holders but there are lots of spares provided and our dice have held up fine (possibly because we tend to play on the rug instead of at a table).

Our daughter received this game for her 5th birthday. We've enjoyed many hours of playing it with her. It is fun and easy enough for her to play well and win (without cheating). Grownups get into it too! A worthwhile investment and a great edition to your games cupboard!!
