Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Cool old cars, awesome rock-n-roll, juvenile comedy !
An attempt to duplictae the success of American Graffiti, but it falls slightly short. If you like old cars, 50's and 60's rock, that's a good enough reason to buy. The comedy resembles Porky's, but i still laughed anyway. There are some serious storylines too about leaving for the war in Vietnam, and making choices after high school.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Very Funny
One of, if not the best all time movie of a car club and its hang out last night in business. Very funny from start to finish.....A must see multiple times, its that funny

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Oh heavens Nevins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was 7 when I first saw this thanks to my 17 year old uncle. I couldn't wait for this to hit DVD. I wish films were still like this. This movie deserves 10 stars and 10 thumbs up. I watch it 3 or 4 times a year and I will never get tired of it. I love having friends over to see it that have never heard of it. They end up buying as soon as possible after a beer swilling night of this flick. A must have for any movie lover, especially for the party, Porky's, Spring Break type movie lovers. A+++

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - The funniest movie ever made.
I was 17 in 1965. The movie is so realistic. Everything in it triggers a memory of people I knew doing and saying the same goofy things, and racing aroung in the same cool cars. Those were great times. Robert Wuhl and Fran Dresher are incredibly funny. It is my number one favorite comedy movie of all times.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - CLASSIC COMEDY ROMP
All the other reviews say it all. I will say I still get chills when Jimmy Shine tell Smitty "You been like a dad to me" And then hugs him. We all know Jimmy is not coming back from Viet Namn.
