This is by far one of our families favorite! The story itself is so wonderful and the illustrations are amazing. All of these books are really sweet and heart warming.

This book is just gorgeous--in meaning and in its illustrations! I don't even have kids yet, but I bought this book for when I do since this book is just so beautiful, and I love what it teaches!

I can't express how much my kids love this book, and how much I love reading it to them. The illustrations are lush and beautiful, the prose is fun without losing its relevence to the story, and the content is perfect for raising Pagan children. Great for Autumn, leading to Winter Solstice ...
My 4 year old sons favourite line is "Plumpy Lumpy Pulpy Pumpkins" ... trying saying that 5 times fast!!

This is a book that we first encountered in the public library. We checked it out twice. I decided that this was a book worth owning. The adults in the family appreciated the poetic language and the parallel between the seasons and a child's bedtime, as well as the rich color of the illustrations and imaginative portrayal of Mother Earth. The child in the family enjoys it too. She'll drop quotes from the book from time to time. I think it's a book that she will grow up with and remember fondly.

This lovely story is about mother earth putting autumn to bed for winter. It covers fall foods, weather, sounds, all in an enchanting form of Mother Earth's gift to her child before bed. This is the all time favorite book of my kids and all their friends. And the best part is, I never get tired of reading it!
