Editorial Review:
Product Description: The follow-up to the #1 next-generation game, Call of Duty 3 delivers the intensity of being closer than ever to the fury of combat during the Normandy Breakout, the historic campaign that made the liberation of Paris possible and brought the Allies a step closer to Berlin. Through a seamless narrative that delivers the rush of unrelenting battle and breathtaking action, players assume the roles of four ordinary Allied soldiers--American, British, Canadian and Polish--and are thrust onto an authentic, living battlefield for an unprecedented variety of combat, with advanced high-definition graphics, detailed character animations and explosive on-screen action, delivering the most immersive and cinematically intense war experience ever.

I have mixed feelings about this game. I can't say it's exactly a really great game, but I don't feel that it's bad either. Keeping in mind that the game was released in 2006, it's definitely "dated" and therefore different than more recently released games.
The graphics are a mixed bag. The environments are complicated, diverse, and beautiful. There's no repetition, and the levels are large. However, sometimes the graphics seem like a mix of current-gen and last gen, with some of the ... Read More

This game is all that was expected. I know it's been out a while now, and C.O.D. 4 is here, but you can't beat the price of this game as well as the hours of fun.

COD 3 is a fun game but it has its dull moments. In the story there is someone always fighting with each other, no one gets along, but the story still is fun and covers the liberation of France. Multiplayer is sweet i spend most of my time playing the multiplayer. the new feature of driving jeeps to tanks is pretty cool. this game should be bought because it is fun and good graphics, and definetly if you need it to get all COD's.

Bigger, louder, but not always better - that's how'd I consider Treyarch's sequel to COD 2; bigger maps, more players online, and vehicles, but, for whatever reason, it's just not as much fun as the previous COD. It's not a bad game at all, it's actually very good, but I believe many people expected more of the same (at least online) from COD2. Now, the single player is stellar and very tough, with good graphics and gameplay. A good game for COD fans, especially at the marked-down price. For COD ... Read More

This game is great if you like team killing. You can't be booted by the Host. The only way you can get booted is if you get punished like six times for killing your teammates. Then after you get booted you just have to go into your recent players list and find a player you just played and select join session in progress.
