Okay, maybe that last bit was too much but this is a great game station, which for those who don't have a X Box (same essentialy) and with PS3 at 1 billion dollars on sale, this is worth your time.

Well today I was just curiously reading through the ps2's low review ratings and I read a couple of things that i found interesting. for starters i'll tell you about my experiences with ps2s. I bought my first ps2 from an EB games in june of 2001 when i was 13 so it was about 8 months after the north american release on the system. I never played with a console game (oops tweny three years ago
atari vcs 2600), in the modern age only I played PC games platform,
But I think, PS2 is a solid platform still, is so good.
This stuff is so good, the size, the graphics. PS2 live!!!!!

I've always trusted Sony's products, and I've always liked the Playstation, so when I got this in 2004, I was pretty excited. Its extremely compact size is a big plus over the original PS2, and the fact that it lacks the powered sliding disc drive of the old PS2 (a common failure point) makes it incredibly reliable.
