Product Description: Bring all the fun of Spongebob video games to your TV-- and no game system is required! All that's needed are 4 'AA' batteries; no consoles or cartridges are required. I bought this toy for my 3 year old daughter as a rainy-day entertainment device... The recommended age on this product is way off. There are 4 games included, and not one of them is simple enough for a 3 year old. I have to admit that my child's grandparents and I have been having a blast playing, though. It's just not meant for younger kids. If you're going to get it, make sure it's for an older child. I would recommend sticking with one of the Dora or Diego plug-n-play's for the younger set.

We got this for our 4 year old son for Christmas. The manufacturer recommends for ages 3 and up. I have to disagree. I would have to say this game is for ages 6 and up. Some of the games are difficult to understand (even for an adult) and navigating through the different games is somewhat difficult as well. Ages 3 and up can play, but you would have to help you child to get to the games he/she wants and you need to read the on screen instructions on how to play the games.
