No problem working on my Vista Dell 2.4 w/1 meg RAM. I also had no problems at all using a 20 dollar Logitech dual action controller.
It has basic easy menu letting you scroll through the titles on the bottom & seeing their look as arcade stand alone cabinet. It has old flyer art & other minor video/audio options. To change controller buttons or keys on keyboard, you have to do it separately for every game, though thankfully once you do the settings it remembers it for the future. ... Read More

Like many of the reviewers, I had the issue of the game not working. I was about to throw it in the garbage, but figured I'd check here to see if others had the same problems. Thank God for Amazon reviews! I downloaded the patch, and now everything works just fine. A nice compilation of some classic arcade games. I do hate that you have to insert the CD-ROM to use the program, but this certainly isn't the only program that does that.

Great collection of old arcade games- perfect replicas of the originals
Got it used for $5.
Was worried about computer compatibility (windows XP notebook), not because of the disc- just everything on a PC is a pain.
People- don't blame software for your hardware problems !
Using a microsoft gamepad- finding that the mouse is quicker for the shooting games though. Everything is working great !

First, ignore the one star reviews, as there is a patch available that fixes the crashing problem.
Second, Bubble Bobble and Space Invaders are both on this collection, two of Taito's biggest arcade games, and that's a great start. However, the lesser known gems are the real highlights of this collection, with puzzlers like Tube It and Qix or the action-platformer Rastan. There are other games that haven't withstood the test of time on here as well, but they are fewer in number.

I really only bought this game for one game - Bubble Bobble. I used to play it on an NES system. I love this game but have also found many more that I love to play that I never knew about. If you love classic arcade / platform games, you will love this game.
