Clue is a great game!
Unfortunately, this board is the original and the pieces are the original. If that's what you want, great. Since I've bought this Clue two weeks ago, I have already found 3 other versions that have games boards that are higher quality, more fun looking, themed, and simply more pretty to look at. This classically constructed, well done game set is an excellent addition to anyone's game collection.

My kids (ages 9 and 10) loved the game. Unlike Classics Monopoly or Risk this can be played in 30 minutes or so, and you may even get a few games in before everyone has had enough. Classic pieces and characters are funny without being distracting. This game is especially good for kids who don't like the competition of most games, as it is more a problem solving game.

Clue hasn't looked this good since it first came out in 1948. This is a vintage edition which comes in a handsome wooden box that would be a nice addition to any bookshelf. The game board conveniently folds out and is of very good quality with metal game pieces, except for a plastic rope. All the characters are there from Professor Plum to Miss Scarlett, all you have to do is solve the crime. The beauty of Clue is that it is a relatively fast paced game, which is great fun for young and old alike.
