Because my eight year old grandson liked the adult version, I purchased the kids Trivial Pursuit for him. He has enjoyed it immensely, however, I believe that at his age the game requires adult involvement.

We purchased this for our 8 year old and have really enjoyed playing it as a family (grandparents included).

Very good family game, especially if the grown-ups enjoy trivial pursuit. Each question offers 3 multiple choice answers. We've modified the rules somewhat: grown-ups don't get the multiple choice answers and don't get to go again. This levels the playing field and keeps the pace faster for the kids.
