First off, many people don't like this game because the emulation is bad. Emulation? Why do you need an old game to be perfectly emulated? Okay, so the bleep sound was supposed to be a bloop. Does that make the game less fun? I've played many of the real Atari video game systems and yes, the games on here do differ, a lot in some games. What I look at is how good it is for what it is. Well, I heard about this system, bought it, and one thing immediately came to mind. Why, if the wanted to market a classic Atari console, would they make it in the shell of a 7800? Not that it matters, but who acutally owns a 7800? Oh well. The games are fun, but the emulation of the sounds are not all there due to the use of a different chipset. i bought this at gamestop for 40 dollars it sucjs what kind of a game is food fight or centipede the controllers they suck i cant explain the controllers thats how bad they are if you want a classic system get the the only the best the best there is the best there was and the best there will ever be super nintendo super nintendo is the golden oldie it is the the goldent gate bridge of gaming

Like most plug-&-play systems that have as many games as this one has, the games on the Atari Flashback console range from a-little-too-easy-to-beat, to frustratingly-difficult-to-play. Thankfully, there are enough games on this unit ("Centipede", "Millipede", "Warlords", "Breakout", "Planet Smashers", and "Yar's Revenge" are the vanguard of the Flashback's fun-and-reasonably-challenging fare) that fall between the two extremes to almost make it worth it.
