Product Description: We love this unique and portable All Surface Swingball game. Empty the case and fill with water, gravel or other ballast. Close lid, insert game poles and you're ready to play on any surface- grass, concrete, even sand. For two-person play, use the large checker bat paddles to hit the tethered tennis ball back and forth. Or bat the ball around the pole for one person or practice play. Pole stands approximately 6' tall assembled. All components store in game case. Paddle colors may get vary.

This is a well-made and engineered toy for kids ( e.g. my 6 year old grandson) adapted quickly to it. It is fun, uses energy, and teaches good eye-hand coordination. Teenagers and adults may be too strong for it to last long, but they can use it with younger ones. I like the all-surface feature: beach, grass, high-ceiling house, etc. Water or sand works fine as the ballast.

The Swing Ball is great for 5 year olds and entire family. It is great for Hand and Eye coordination. Packs up easy and can be taken anywhere. Many hours of fun for the family

this is the new millenium version of the zim zam of your youth [if you are generation x] hence, there are no metal parts - everything is plastic. it's not the sturdiest piece of equipment, so when your 8th grader and the boys from down the block set upon it with real tennis racquets, parts will break.
it's best for the short set - i'd say 3rd or 4th grade and younger.
for 6 and 7 year olds - it's perfect, lots of fun, racquets light enough to manage for sustained play.

I put this in my great room (on carpet padding) and filled the base with filled water bottles and a large rock. Base stays secure and no problem with the pole falling out. Kids and parents have played for hours. My daughter is 4 and we play a "light" version with her. Would highly recommend this product.

I am so gutted I bought this for my neice and nephew and whilst they enjoy it all us adults look on and remember our childhood but when we get up to play the pole just does not stay in the base - we have tried water which agreed does not let it tip but the pole still pops out and the hole is becoming white where it is weakening. We have only played it 6 times Am going to search for the hole in the ground version - far more sturdy and durable.... would highly recommend but only for juniors as not strudy ... Read More
