Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Amazing Game even 10 years later
I've played all 4 Thief games (Thief 1, 2, 3 and Gold), and I'm still hooked nearly 10 years later. An engrossing storyline that weaves through all 3 games and gameplay that always seems to challenge you is part of the allure, but what makes it even greater is that you can develop your own missions and entire storylines; for those that have played through Thief 2, there is an expansion, "Shadows of the Metal Age" that you can download, for free.

With all of those features (despite the ... Read More

If a game is really great, don't matter how many years ago it were builded, this one continue being a masterpiece!! Fun, adventure, thriller, adrenaline, and interest continues keep you on, to the entire game endurance.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great Games
These are great games. You will need to download the Indeo plugin, though. These cost money. Remember that when you purchase these.
These are a fantastic series and very competitive. Not for the faint of heart, either.
Have fun!!!

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Graphics are dated
I'm split on how to rate this game. The strategic aspect of the game is great. I enjoy sneaker games and Thief is supposed to be the gold standard. But I could not play this game. I installed it and ran it and then after the first mission I gave up. The graphics are too dated.

What did it for me were the trees that were low polygon oblate spheroids. After FarCry, Thief's graphics just don't do it for me.

If you like classic games, Thief should be good, but the dated graphics ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Thief 1 & 2 Bundle
This is a terrific game that I really enjoy. Sneaking, hiding, putting a monkey wrench in the workings of the bad guys... an awesome game to play even though it is older software.

The only problem is that it freezes due to problems with my new ATI graphics card. This version says that it is XP compatible but doesn't seem to work any better than the nonXP compatible version.
