A large coffee table book containing the most comprehensive black-and-white and color photographic collection of the history of NASA I have every read. Many large unique photographs offering first hand insight of the people and equipment that put man in space. Excellent coffeetable book this is. Great pictures, often well known, some less often published. Enormous size, interesting text. Great delivery service from Amazon.Com, the book was 10 days early!
All in all a true addition to any space-enthousiast library.

When I ordered this book, I had no idea quite how large it is, you need a serious coffee table for this very serious and all-inclusive book. The book provides both a detailed narrative and a plethora of photos from the beginnings of NASA's space exploration. This book is the definitive book about America's venture into space, in its first 50 years.

I bought this book from Italy, and it was a surprise for its dimension. It's big, but very nice, good quality pictures and step by step it takes you to learn how is amazing the new american space frontier.

I bought this book for my husband who is a space nut. It was actually part of his 40th birthday present and he loved it! Our kids love looking at all the large pictures in it as well and this book has plenty of pictures. It is a very informative book specially if you have ever wondered how this whole space thing started!
