Editorial Review:
Product Description: Detective Lindsay Boxer and Assistant District Attorney Jill Bernhardt are enjoying a quiet afternoon in San Francisco when a townhouse across the street explodes in flames. A sinister note signed "August Spies" is found at the scene of the disaster, and the body of an infant who was asleep in the house at the time of the explosion cannot be found. Soon a wave of violent incidents, all with links to political terrorism and involving "August Spies," sweeps through the city. An upcoming economic summit of the world's most powerful nations will surely be a target. And it's up to the Women's Murder Club to get to the bottom of the violence before it's too late. Delivering the breakneck pace and never-saw-it-coming plot twists that have made James Patterson the most addictive writer at work today, 3rd DEGREE is another searing and unforgettable thriller from the nation's #1 bestselling suspense writer.

I will not comment on the story, but the quality of the writing is poor. It needs to be edited by a 7th grade English teacher. I recommend that you go to the hardcover version on Amazon and use the "Look Inside" feature to read the first chapter. That will provide an example of the writing style so you can decide for yourself it is readable.

This book follows the 4 girls in the Women's Murder Club Series. This particular book was up and down with twists and turns. Sadly the girls lost one of their own; although they suffered a loss, the book follows through with what would "she" do (I'm not giving away which character :0)). There will always be 4 Margarita glasses at their table. I wasn't enamored by the ending; it wasn't a typical Patterson ending. Nonetheless, this book follows perfectly. "I am off to the 4th of July..."

Don't know how Patterson does it, but he just keeps on getting better and better! Couldn't put 3rd Degree down.

Enjoyed this one, but not as quite as much previous one. There were a couple places where I wish they had developed things a bit more. Aaron Winslow almost showing up again. The ending also seemed a bit anti-climatic.

i absolutely love James Patterson!!! In this 3rd installement of the women's murder club 3rd degree is a book you dont want to put down. Each chapter leaves you wanting more i couldnt wait to see the ending. The part I did not expect was when they killed off the d.a jill. I didnt expect that to happen and although it isnt going to be the same main 4 characters I know he probably wouldnt have done it if he had to. so in all i give this book 5 out of 5 i highly recommend it
