Editorial Review:

Product Description:
Craving some realistic racing action? Sprint Cars 2 - Showdown at Eldora is a game where 700 HP engines and speeds of up to 170mph add up to high-speed thrills. Watch your back as you race with powerful dirt track vehicles that bump and slide into you unexpectedly through the tough courses, causing realistic damage to your ride. You need killer racing reflexes to survive and make it to the checkered flag before everyone else and snag a sweet medal. Choose from 10 lightning-fast models and speed through 27 challenging racetracks. Watch out for fiery crashes that can cost you the win. You can earn bronze, silver and gold medals in Challenge mode, while Arcade mode features quick single events and multiple event championships. Strength matters more than speed in the Tractor Pull, where those who can blast the weighted sled the furthest will claim victory.

Tractor Pull stresses strength over acceleration by challenging you to blast a weighted sled the furthest Race alone or against a friend in split-screen head-to-head competitions

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - This Game Blows!!!

Always been a huge fan of this genre of game and most reviewers do not give the dirt track the respect it deserves. Unfortunately, Sprintcar2 Showdown at Eldora deserves every bad review it gets. I will not get into too many specifics as to why this game should never have been released but here's what SAE offers.
-The same tracks as Sprintcar Road to Knoxville
-The same models and paint schemes for the Modifieds, Midgets and Sprintcars as RTK
-Three new classes ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Really enjoying the game
I was a big fan of the World of Outlaws PS2 game that came out in 2002 and Road to Knoxville when that came out in 2006. This version really has a lot more to do. They've added late models, pro stock and wingless sprints. The new challenge mode is fun and the tractor pull, while pretty simple, is cool because you can post your pulls to their website. I'd like to see this game on the Xbox 360 someday!!!

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Not compatible with PS3
I just assumed since Spint Cars: Road to Knoxville worked on PS3 that their new game would also. Not a good assumption. The game is great but I had to give to a friend who had a PS2.
