This is a real solid MLB game. The controls (especially pitching) were a little tricky to get the hang of at first, but once you get it, you cant beat it. I havent played the latest (2K9) so I am not sure of the updates, but I would definately recommend this game. The minor league game play is great break from the major league team. I found that on pro difficulty setting, the computer is competetive, unlike some games. If you do not mind getting older/unupdated rosters, then pick this game up.

Pitching is real cumbersome, hard to learn. Even on the easiest setting, I lost interest immediately. Graphics are so-so. Don't say I didn't warn you, this game is no improvement, and doesn't even maintain past standards of what anyone would expect out of a xbox 360 baseball game.

I have been a gamer for over 20 years so I can honestly say that this game is the worst piece of **** out there. Bought it as my wife loves baseball and it would be fun to play a baseball game on 360...the controls, voice acting, graphics are trash, at one point the game started to play by itself?...do not buy...don't even rent.

I've been playing this game for about four months now. I've been desperately trying to find a good baseball game that a casual baseball fan like myself can enjoy on my Xbox 360. What I wanted was a next-gen version of something like a cross between Bases Loaded and High Heat Baseball. What I got was something apparently only the hardcore baseball fan can enjoy.
