Product Description: Exorcise your downhill and freeride demons with the confidence of full-face protection in the Giro Remedy Helmet. Tree branches and thorns get the brush-off, as do the grin-killing pebbles your bro tosses up in his rooster when you're bombing down the mountain at Mach 3. That said, you might never eat another mouthful of dust again, because the Remedy's faceplant insurance plan has a knack for helping you push yourself further and faster than ever.

Great helmet. Looks slick, light weight at 1/3 the cost of the CF version...go with this one and use the $200 savings to invest in some quality components for your bike. Fits great, I have a long head and the padding conforms wonderfully. I haven't taken any major knocks on it, but am comfortable that it will do the trick when called upon. The visor is strong, not flimsly like some other brands. If you are on the fence go ahead and pull the trigger, you wont be sorry. I bought the Matte black, its ... Read More

This is the most comfortable helmet I ever had (including motocross helmets). I also like the look of it. One small problem with this one though - the liner is a bit worm (at least here in the summer where we have 30 deg C). Also vision from the helmet is great - you don't have anything in your line of vision. I would like it to have D rings and not the quick release though but this is a personal preference. The price I got from Amazon was great and I got it in just 2 days with free shipment which ... Read More

This helmet does exactly like any review says. It protects your head completely.
It was a little snug on my head at first but once I wore it a couple times it loosened just a little. It breathes realistically well for a full face helmet.
Some things I didn't expect:
It is much lighter then I would have expected, which is great. No reason for the carbon one honestly.
Also, I live in an area with lots of bug life. And you know when you hear that buzzzZzz ... Read More

I have a big head and the large fit me well. The helmet breaths very well, I was no hotter than when I just wore a standard helemt without the face shield. it is light and comfortable. Fortunately I've not needed the face shield yet, but I push myself a little more becuase I feel so protected. And the comfort is amazing. A must have for any serious mountain biker.

very comfortable helmet, very secure feeling. The only down side is that it's hot inside when it's hot ourside--but that's like any other downhill helmet. Looks classy, too.
