So far, so good - seems sturdy enough. I home school and thought this would be more engaging than a piggy bank. My girls are now *very* excited about watching the $ grow as they find such delight in inserting the coin, pulling the lever, and watching the amount register. The best part
about this product: it's all mechanical - no batteries required! I wish it were made in the USA, not China even if it cost more. All things considered, a good toy/teaching tool.
