One of my four boys had, so the youngest wanted one too. The problem is that the newer version beeps really loud every hour on the hour and we threw it out because we couldn't get it to stop.

I bought this to add to my ever growing watch collection as a Novelty watch..My son loves it. All the functions actually work and He likes to beable to keep up with me when hiking and know which direction and starting fires with magnifying glass etc..Thanks for making his day.

When I saw this I immediately asked for it for my birthday. At first I was afraid it would be heavey and big uot when I got it I saw it was a small as a plane watch! everything works except the thermometer dosen't work too well. Its very durable. I once wore it in the rain for an hour and it never broke. Over all this is a must have watch.
