Before I viewed this as part of a collection called CULT CAMP CLASSICS - VOL 1, I had not seen QUEEN OF OUTER SPACE in over 40 years. I first saw it on TV in black and white without realizing that it was originally shot in color and in Cinemascope. Even as a kid I could see that it was less than stellar. Seeing it now restored to all of its 1950s glory (or as much as a DVD can show), I am amazed at how good it looks. The use of color is bold, the photography is well done, the use of sound is imaginative ... Read More

i saw this movie when i was a teen-ager. this movie started popping up on television in the nineties. what it is basically about is a group of women who gets tired of the queen's crulty and decides to rebel.
then on the other side of the universe, a group of men, headed up by eric fleming's character, is assigned an unwelcome duty that they feel are best suited for "space jockeys" even though they get to take the trip with a renown scientist.
this movie is so bad, it is good. the first thing ... Read More

I first saw this movie in an art houe in New York, many years ago now, and just laughed and laughed. Watching it at home was just as funny. Of coure it's not a comedy, but it is just so bad that it works as one. I suppose my favorite parts are the costumes, and the really silly plot. This movie was made on a budget and you can really tell; I probably spend more on groceries than they did on this movie. If you love old sci-fi b-films, you'll love this.

Queen Of Outer Space is a top notch 1950's Sci-Fi B-Movie which stars Zsa-Zsa Gabor and Laurie Mitchell(from Missile To The Moon). The plot features a group of Earthmen who were traveling to a space station when their spaceship was crashed landed on Venus, instantly they were captured by a race of dominant Venusian Warrior Women under the order of their queen(Mitchell). The queen then reveals a devious plan to destroy the Earth, but her plans are stopped by the Earthmen and a rebel scientist(Gabor) and her ... Read More

Four American astronauts blast off into space and discover Zsa Zsa Gabor in this truly strange 1958 film--a movie which actually received fairly positive reviews at the time but which is today regarded as a cult classic of the "so bad it's good" variety.
The story is trivial. A space ship carrying four American astronauts is struck by a mysterious ray and forced down on Venus--which is ruled by evil Queen Yllana (Laurie Mitchell), who has banished men from the planet and who now determines to ... Read More
