Editorial Review:
Product Description: It's the blue team against the red team in this exciting game of soccer. The huge stadium measures over 22" and over 14" inches wide, making plenty of room for a very large crowd! The spotlights are aimed down onto the field and the scoreboards show a score of 0-0. Suddenly the red team has the ball, the center takes a hard shot to the left, the goalie dives right, and the red team scores!! This should be a good game!
386 total pieces, including six red players, six blue players, two spectators, one Adidas soccer ball and two standard LEGO footballs. The goalies and defenders move side to side! Also includes Adidas, Philips, and LEGO stickers for the stadium side boards and stickers for the players' uniforms.
Amazon.com: A perfect pastime for kids and adults with World Cup Soccer fever (when there are no games on, of course), this Lego model builds the soccer stadium and then allows for a two-player game. The set comes with a 22-by-14-inch tray that serves as the stadium and base for the field. A few extra touches, such as stadium lights, goals, and a scoreboard are also included. The game comes with a tiny soccer ball and 12 minifig players—six on the red team and six on the blue—that can each be manipulated with a rear lever to rotate or move side to side for real game play. While the Grand Soccer Stadium’s action is not as fast as that on a foosball table, it’s definitely passable as a mock game of soccer. The stadium contains 386 Lego pieces and takes about an hour or two to build before play can begin. --Cristina Vaamonde

My son absolutely loves this toy. It's a great activity that he shares with his soccer teammates. The only improvement I can suggest is that they include more balls.

My 5 year old adores this stadium, and it's easy for him to play. It was a challenge to build, but was part of the whole fun. At the MSRP, I would have NEVER bought it, and would have been dissapointed in our purchase; HOWEVER, We happened across it at a local store on clearance for 1/5th the MSRP price - and for that amount, it was WELL worth it. The minifigs are fun, and have added a whole new dimention to my son's Lego World.
All in all, if you can find it at a LOW clearance ... Read More

This was a Christmas present from my husband and I to his son. He is 8.5 years old and was completely thrilled to receive this from under the tree Christmas morning. He has played it since and thoroughly enjoyed it. He put most of it together by himself, so it challenged hom to follow instructions as well!

It took my son about an hour or 2 to put together. After playing with it for a few days it now finds itself with a ton of other toys in the back of the closet. Not really a knock against the product as it was really fun to put together and play with but it just didn't hold his attention long enough.
