Editorial Review:
Product Description: Get ready for a new train adventure as you travel across Europe with Ticket to Ride - Europe, the new edition of the worldwide hit from Days of Wonder. From Edinburgh to Constantinople and from Lisbon to Moscow, the game will take you on a ride to the great cities of turn-of-the-century Europe. More than just a new map, Ticket to Ride - Europe features brand new gameplay elements including Tunnels, Ferries and Train Stations. Plus, we've upgraded you to First-Class accommodations with larger cards, new Train Station game pieces, and a lavishly illustrated gameboard. Like the original, the game remains elegantly simple, can be learned in three minutes, and appeals to both families and experienced gamers. Ticket to Ride - Europe is a complete, new game and does not require the original version. It is for 2 to 5 players, and it takes 30-60 minutes to play.

This made a great gift that our entire family enjoyed. We had played the version of this game based on Germany, but really enjoyed the larger European board as well. Building tunnels is a unique feature of Ticket to Ride Europe that adds an interesting element of suspense to the game. Our entire family would recommend it to your family.

I purchased this game for my brother and his family last year for the holidays. It has become a hit in their home. In fact my brother plays the game regularly online. This is a must buy for any family who plays boardgames.

My husband and I are addicted to this game! A nice game for 2-5 players (we've played with each # of players), especially for people (my family) who can be a little too competitive and need to play a game that is easygoing, where you are working towards your own goals. I really love the train stations, giving you a way out if you are stuck with no way out -- that's different from Settlers of Catan, where you can just get blocked off, with no way out, and people get their feelings hurt. I especially ... Read More

My husband and I had played the original Ticket To Ride at a friend's last summer. After playing only once, we knew we wanted to get the game. For my husband's birthday I bought him the Europe edition. We found the additions of the train stations in this version quite a helpful security blanket when someone else takes your train path---in other words, the original can be a little frustrating when that happens. Since the game play moves so quickly, we've played this game on several weeknights after dinner, ... Read More

My wife and I play this most often of our games. Map has a different feel from the original Ticket to Ride (USA). Like the new long routes (for lots of points) and the new rules about keeping those routes separate. The european map is a bit of a geography lesson, made more difficult because some of the city names aren't spelled they way we're used to seeing them. All in all, a great game.
