This is a fun toy for my kids. However, it is a little hard for them to work b/c you have to hold it upright or it will not fly off the cloud. They like to fight over it, so I suggest ordering 2 of them (if you have more than one kid that will be playing with it of course).

I got two of these sky dancers for my daughters, and they love them! Since my girls are so young (1 and 3) I am the only one that works the launcher, and they chase after them. They have a blast. When we aren't using the launcher, my 1 year old is constantly carrying her around, and my 3 year old takes hers to bed! I do agree that they can be dangerous if not being used carefully (solved with me just working the launcher), and that the bases don't work consistently, but I am happy with that as opposed ... i was REALLY excited when i saw the commercials and them in wal mart because when i was really little (im 13 now) i always wanted one of these dolls and i remember all my friends had them and let me use them they worked perfectly so i wanted to have that 15 minutes of fun with the toy and put it in my kid kit (babysitting kit) maybe instead ill just look at ebay for the older dolls even tho they were more fragile good luck

This toy is disappointing piece of junk. If you follow the directions exactly, you can expect it to work about 10% of the time. It is quirky and there is not really a method to when it does or doesn't work. When it does, it's moderately interesting to watch it "fly". Please note that another reviewer gave it 5 stars but a negative review (citing an injury!). When you consider that mistake, it's pretty clear that there are better uses of your money than the sky dancers dolls.
