Editorial Review:
Description: On May 8th 2004 Mostly Autumn took the stage at the Astoria Theatre in London for the first of the V shows. The fans turned out in force and they were rewarded with a mind-blowing light show, multiple laser display and amazing new film projections. The powerful music of Mostly Autumn and the stunning audiovisual elements combined to produce a magical evening at the London Astoria. This amazing show was widely hailed by fans as the best ever performance by the band.

I've discovered Heather Findlay (the singer for Mostly Autumn) when I got Ayreon's The Human Equation album. After also learning that she had sung backing vocals with Blackmore's Night (which is another band I like), I've decided to get something else by her main band, so I finally got this DVD.
I like the production on it, as well as the songs. Even though I more of a metal-head, I have a side of me that likes folk music, progressive music, and things like that, so I really dig Mostly ... Read More

Everything this band does is brilliant. This concert set has been on my DVD player for a year or so and I can never seem to get tired of it. Amazing musicians, great songwriters and 7 extremely talented musicians. This is what rock is all about. They are not progressive in the Yes King Crimson sense, but are truly progressive musically in the classic rock tradition of Floyd and Gabriel Genesis, but with a fresh new sound that is totally addicting.

Let me clear this up from the start. I am a big fan of Mostly Autumn, and just love all their music. Secondly, I am reveiwing the copy of the V.Shows I have, which is a limited edition double DVD with a booklet.
So for me 5 stars is not enough. I have noticed that most people come across this band by accident, which is a shame, because I believe that they should be "discovered" by now in the USA. I have reveiwed other MA DVD's and a few people have obvioulsy read the reviews, but I don't know ... Read More

I found this 6 piece (4 men / 2 woman) rock group by accident. Boy am I glad I did! This is an excellent band. The music has nicely woven arrangements, great melody and good solid players with excellent vocals. This is not another wound up, speed crazy band or a bunch of angry people screaming their heads off and slamming the same chords over and over again. It's got an uplifting feel and real atmosphere. More on the cosmic side of things. Very poetic lyrics and spiritual style with new age and Pink ... Read More
