My daughter and I really like this game. I don't understand why some reviewers said there is no education value. For a young child, there is counting, strategy and memory involved. I play this with my 3 year old and she loves it. Sometimes I help her with spaces and which way would be best for her to go, but that's about it.
We did take out the "return to start" and "swap" cards and so that leaves an even number of cards for each "store". She never wanted to swap her person anyway. ... Read More

This is a great game, but definitely no educational value, it's just a fun game for girls to play together. The directions are somewhat confusing and not fully explanatory so we had to make up some of our own rules as we went along, but all in all, a fun game!

My daughter got this when she was 4 (or just before turning 4). She enjoyed it right away and over a year and half later, she still loves playing it. I think playing games in and of itself is an education experience...at this age, learning to take turns and accept loss is important. And this works on memory skills as she pays attention when I flip over one of her clothing cards so she can go and retrieve it at her earliest opportunity. My 5 and 7 year old daughters absolutely love playing this game -- there is not much educational value, but what's wrong with Imagination, family members interacting, friendly competition and playing with cute little polly pocket dolls??? That is JUST AS IMPORTANT as what most would call "educational." (and can you believe that parent's review that says she's upset about the SUV?? give me a break and relax a little!)
