Editorial Review:
Product Description: Just plug the Atari controller into your TV and play these classic Atari games. Fans of early Atari games will love the "paddle" replica controller, inspired by the Atari 2600. Compact, lightweight controller plugs into any TV with an ATV input jack.
Games include:
- Super Breakout
- Casino
- Warlords
- Steeple Chase
- Nightdriver
- Breakout
- Canyon Bomber
- Demon to Demand
- Video Olympics
- Pong
- Arcade Warlords
- Circus Atari
- Streetracer

I actually have the 2 player version, which I'd recommend over the 1 player if you can find it. (Reason being that a number of the games - Warlords and Street Racer in particular, need 2 people competition to be real fun.)

I was really suprised when I saw the games look just like the ones I played about 25 years ago! The paddle controller was very smooth and persise. The total controller was a little bulkey, but it does house everything including the batteries. Hookup was easy. All-in-all, I think it is a hit!

I sent this to a friend of mine (Age 46) for her 9 year old daughter. The daughter played with it alittle until her Mom got it...The Mom plays it more then the daughter! It would Not hold the attention of a "Tween" girl or boy but the games were challenging.

Seriously, no Kaboom! How does this even make sense? It was the preeminent paddle game for the 2600.

I found the games on this particular TV Games plug-n-play console a mixed bag: about half the games were rather fun to play, and the other half were either kinda dull or downright frustrating.
The Good:
PONG- this unit has two versions of Pong, the arcade version, and the Atari console "Video Olympics" version. Both are fairly simple to play, although I'm more familiar with (and better at) the Video Olympics version, which was included in the original Atari joystick-edition ... Read More
