I think this is a great Halloween DVD. I bought this for my daughter when she was 4 years old (she is now 10)and she has always loved it. I now have a 2 year old and she loves it as well. We watch it every October all month long along with our other Halloween movies, but this is one of my daughters favorites.

This is a wonderful collection of disney cartoons (some halloween related, some not). It pulls some of the clips from the original "Disney's Halloween Treat", such as the Donald Duck clip with the escaped ape on the stormy night and the Mickey, Donald, and Goofy "Ghost Exterminators" clip. It is a delightful Halloween treat where new and old disney characters gather on Halloween night at the House of Mouse for the sharing of Spooky cartoon clips. If I had known that "House of Mouse" was such a boring cartoon serie I would never have gotten this DVD, however, I didn't have Disney Channel and thought this was a short movie special with the villains. *headdesk* WHY????
Basically, Mickey owns some kind of TV show... or whatever, he's on stage, doing a few jokes, shows some old Disney Characters and then plays a boring (new stuff) little movie. Here the villains supposedly take over the "House of Mouse" and... watch cartoons!

"Mickey's House of Villains" is a Halloween special weaving together a number of stories in a fun plot about what would happen if the Disney villains tried to take over the House of Mouse.
Though this is a fairly recent special, many of the stories seem to be in the classic Disney tradition.
