We bought this for my 8 year old, who loves animals. She loves the game, and we have had a great time playing it with her. The only difference in this, and real Monopoly is that you are buying dogs and dog houses instead of property and hotels.

this game is fun for the whole family. i really like playing it a lot. the dog choices are chiuaua, yorkie, beagle, dashound, boston terrier, basset hound, siberian husky, bull dog, poodle, dalmation, boxer, lab, collie, golden retriever, german shepard, doberman, greyhound, mastiff, akita, st. bernard, great dane and rottweiler. some of the major dog breeds weren't on there, and i was very sad that they included an akita over a springer spaniel. :( it is a very fun game and it is fun to play ... My son got a dog for Christmas along with Dogopoly. We both are animal lovers and enjoyed this doggie version of Monopoly. My son especially got a kick out of the name twist on Free Barking. My only complaint is that they don't provide enough $[...] bills. We played a marathon game in which we amassed lots of money and were constantly having to turn in our $[...] for different denominations of bills. Other than that, lots of fun buying doghouses and big bones!

My daughter just got this and we love it. I have never been a fan of "Monopoly", but I actually enjoy playing this. The dogs make it more interesting visually and they learn different dogs as well.
