Product Description: A KILLER FOLLOWS HIS INJURED TARGET TO THE HOSPITAL ON OCT. 31IN HADDONFIELD, III.
Amazon.com: "You can't kill the boogeyman," explains John Carpenter in Halloween, and to prove it he brings Michael Myers back in this handsome but grisly sequel. Jamie Lee Curtis returns as Laurie Strode but spends most of her time cowering in a hospital gown, and Donald Pleasence runs around like a maniac as the panicky doctor desperate to hunt down Myers before he kills again. Carpenter writes and produces with partner Debra Hill, and together they replace the mystery and uncertainty of the original with an exponentially bigger body count and some strange tales about the Druids and pagan ceremonies, and the now-familiar family ties between Michael and Laurie. First-time director Rick Rosenthal (Bad Boys) paces the film at a brisk jog and directs it with a clean, crisp style, taking the murders out of the dark to display them in all their nasty detail. --Sean Axmaker

This movie was great. It had killing and stabbing which I loved. Lots of people are scared of these movies. I'm a little scared because I wanted Laurie to survive and I wanted Michael to die and it came true Laurie survived and Michael was burned. Only watch this one, Halloween, and Halloween H20. The rest is not part of this series with Laurie Strode. Michael Myers doesn't die in this one he somehow escaped. He dies in H20 when he gets his head chopped off by Laurie. Only Watch these three films ... Read More

Michael Myers is still at large and no less dangerous than ever. After a failed reunion to reach his baby sister at their old home, Laurie Strode is immediately taken to a hospital to be treated by the wounds that had been afflicted by her brother a few hours ago. However, Michael isn't too far off and will continue his murdering 'Halloween' rampage until he gets his sister all to himself. Zombie's interest in character interaction and moral ambiguity gives "Halloween II" a depth that, for those with ... Read More

This sequel is fantastic as far as most movie sequels come. I really liked how the film started directly after the first which made for good back to back viewing. The acting is still great, Donald Pleasence still is fantastic and also is Jamie Lee Curtis. Michael Myers is also quite good in the film. He is a great stalker and adds alot of suspense when needed. The one thing I didn't like about it was the amount of blood. I don't like excessive blood in movies and thats why I liked the first movie so much. ... Read More

Hands down both Halloween 1 and 2 where the very best of the series. I have seen both many, many times and still can't get enough.

This was a big hit at the time and the reason for it was that it was a direct sequel of the first with the two main cast members Donald Pleasance and Jamie lee curtis continuing the story. In this one Michael is still killing off everyone around his sister to terrorize her, before he finally finishes her off. But she of course is trying to survive and so it goes. The dvd is well done but a blu ray release is needed with perhaps halloween 3 as a bonus movie on it. This is great horror and well worth seeing ... Read More
