Amazon.com Product Description: It's time to grab your fishing rod and head out towards Sega's clear blue sea. Sega Marine Fishing--the sequel to the highly successful arcade and Dreamcast hit, Sega Bass Fishing--features all of the thrills and action of real exotic deep-sea fishing. Players depart on an all-day charter and travel across the Sega Seas to one of three beautiful fishing areas. In the warm South Pacific, you'll encounter breathtaking coral reefs that are filled with colors so vibrant, you'll swear you smell salt water. Continue your fishing adventure at the Offing, where you'll see and hear the surf crash onto the shore while you cast the waters in search of the dangerous mako shark. Land your quota in all three areas for a chance to explore the Sega Sea Special Bonus Area and all of its secrets. With 16 different lures, you're bound to reel in the big one.

We own all four of the Dreamcast fishing games, (Reel Fishing Wild, Bass Fishing 1 & 2, Sega Marine Fishing) and this is by far the best. The variety of fish and lures can't be beat. With or without the fishing controller this game is a must for the Dreamcast. My six year old has a blast with it as well. No gore or blood, (unless the spear that they use to pull in the bigger fish disturbs you) and a good game for kids.

I don't mean to be dramatic or anything but this game rocks! This game gets boring my but! I got a fishing game for my ps1 and this game still kicks that game (or any game in the world's) but. Even if you don't like fishing you'll like this because it requiers no skill whatsoever.
I liked unlocking new charecters but you can also unlock dogs, rods, hats, shirts and line. 5 Stages to unlock and so many posibilities. Listen to theese 3 words, do it.............

You might scoff at the thought of fishing on your Dreamcast, but it really is a good way to pass the time. Of course you must remember that it is a fishing game. Don't expect an engrossing story because you won't get it. What you will get is a game that can be picked up by anybody, and played with little skill or effort.
There are tons of fish (including at least one type of shark). You can get all manner of things to put in your aquarium (including fish which is a nice thing to have in an ... Read More
