Editorial Review:

Amazon.com Product Description:
Has the King of Pop become the Prince of Pugilism? As a sequel to 1999's surprise knockout, Ready 2 Rumble Boxing: Round 2 features Michael Jackson, alongside NBA heavyweight Shaquille O'Neal and a mix of new and returning contestants, for some over-the-top fisticuffs. The game combines authentic boxing action with outrageous costumes, special moves, taunts, and rumble flurries, all of which are unique for each character. Throw some quick jabs in the arcade mode or do it Rocky-style via the enhanced championship mode, in which you'll manage your boxer's training regimen and schedule fights. Adding to the realism are photographers, corner men with spit buckets, beautiful ring girls who announce each new round, and Michael Buffer with his famous "Let's get ready to rumble!" call.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - ready to rumble round 2
this is a sweet game for dreamcast the boxer are some what comey in the game it rocks

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Too fun the other reviewers that said it boring their lame
It was just too fun it has a whole bunch of characters. Its so fun it almost left me speechless and I talk too much so you know that game is too fun.It got Micheal Jackon(king of pop)and Shaq(1999 mvp all star player)so you know you can't get bored of this game. Don't believe people who saids "its lame" beause you know what their too lame for this tight game hey its almost too good for me.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Boxing minus fun and origionality
This game is tedious and boring. You use the same dumb tricks to beat different characters in lame looking arenas.

Avoid Ready 2 Rumble 2. I love sport games but this just sucked.

Why do I have to give it a star....c'mon Amazon put a minus feature in place for game like this

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Boring and tedious
The graphics are very good and the game is fun to play for a couple of matches, but after that it gets really boring. It's just the same old button mashing every round, and not that that's necessarily a bad thing but with this game it gets so dull. Also, the game designers tried too hard to make the characters very "wacky" and the result is that most of the characters and humor in this game is just plain stupid (but not even in a funny way). In closing, I'll say this game is overrated, and I don't ... Read More

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Fun and funny, for awhile.
I bought this game for my cousins. I really thought it was a bit too silly for my tastes. They'd give it 5 stars, I'll take one away because of my thoughts on the game.

First, my cousins perspectives. A barrel of laughs and a whole lot of fun. They both will sit down in front of the TV for hours playing this game, just beating the stink out of each other until they have to go. They don't care for Michael Buffer, but they do enjoy the boxer comments.

Second, my perspective. ... Read More
