Editorial Review:
Do you need to work on those dribbling and passing skills? Soccer fans can practice anytime for the next World Cup with the LEGO Championship Challenge soccer game. Construct an entire football field, including goals and teams, with the 274 LEGO and LEGO-compatible pieces. Each side has five clean-cut players plus a mysteriously unshaven goalie. Each spring-action player stands on a separate 2.5-by-5-inch chunk of the field, and a paddle that projects from behind the goal controls the goalies. The complete field, including sideline advertising and goal areas, is about 20 inches by 11 inches--unless you choose to put together one of the wacky nonstandard fields instead. A detailed, illustrated instruction booklet is included. --Richard Farr

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Fun for the whole family
There are already reviews here to cover the basics. I have a 5 & 6 year old, they love it, mainly because the whole family can join in and enjoy it. (My wife and I have even been known to have a match once the children are asleep).
Forget the kids making it though, it took daddy 20 minutes. Once assembled the children can do the running repairs without a problem.
One little point; a small difference in co-ordination can lead to a big difference in the ability to win. This is an issue ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - #10 with the ball, He shoots... GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL!
Wanna be the Captain Tsubasa of LEGO? LEGO Soccer can do that! LEGO Soccer is a Soccer game, however, if your not a soccer type, or don't know anything about soccer, LEGO Soccer I can't recomend! However, Captain Tsubasa fans will be gald to be graced with this as a gift for even the youngest Captain Tsubasa fan! Assembly is tough if you don't pay attention to what the instructions say. Paying attention to the instructions and finishing the field will give you the game! To make the game even more interesting, ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great fun for the family!
My five year old son got this for Christmas and loves it. We have played it with two and four players. We've even had play-offs as a family. He enjoys playing make-believe with the players and announcing the game plays. He wants more accessories to go with it. The only thing I would like to see is a snap-on board sized to fit the field to hold it together. We move it around the house and tend to drop a piece off of it occasionally. I would recommend this product to all kids this age - my ten year old and ... Read More

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Not up to Lego Name
We bought this for my 8 year old son and it was a total bust. The various field pieces did not hold together well even when anchored to a large Lego building board. Needless to say my son lost interest very quickly. Most Lego items are very well designed to be played with - this is not one of them.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Everyone loved this toy!
I gave this to my 12 year old son for Christmas last year. It was easy and fun to put together. It was so much fun to play that it sat on our coffee table for an entire week. We had alot of family around for that week and Everyone wanted to play it. Little ones, older kids, and adults. The players were easy to manipulate yet challenging enough to make it fun. It took a pretty good beating once the play got a little wound up. We loved this game and highly recommend it to Lego fanatics.
