The game lets you customize off-road vehicles and then push them to their limits--flying over jumps, splashing through riverbeds, and weaving amid trees in the dead of night. Amid these choices, just winning a quick race in the arcade round can be a significant challenge. This is a great choice for kids who don't have the latest computers. It runs fine on a five year old computer and you don't need more than keyboard commands to play. The levels are challenging and you can customize you vehicle as you go. Fun off road race game.

This game is the boom (dont be afraid to byy this if you have windows x.p. it works good) the grafics are great the t-rex is the best car. buy it!

I liked the fact that its easy to advance thru the levels quickly enough to keep it interesting, yet challenging enough that I'll keep coming back to it. The graphics for the different tracks were interesting enough that I was actually distracted from the driving checking out the scenery. Loved the music! I really love the off road games, wish they'd make more. Bought this game because you get to drive the Hummer, now I want a real one!

This is a great game to start with. You get many vehicles, and many add ons(supercharges, bigger engines, larger tires, etc), but on certain tracks, like the downhill mountain course, all you have to do is floor it and pretty much float down the trail(above the other vehicles and obstacles, bouncing off the sides of the mountain with no damage, of course).
Overall, its a much better improvement than the first and second one, but Insane, and 4x4 Evo 2 are much better.

Test drive Off Road 3 is a lot of fun to play on my computer but the games processing speed is awfully slow. It is slow even for a Intel Celeron 500mhz computer with 64 megabytes of RAM and Windows 98. It takes at least a Minute and a half or more while Need for speed high stakes takes at least 45 seconds to load a race. This game (Test drive off road 3) is a whole lot of fun to play but you have to have a little paitence when the game loads a race because it takes a while. but The music is cool ... Read More
