Editorial Review:
Product Description:
Witty, wise, and elegant in their simplicity, these timeless adages come from two influential figures of American history: In the style of Poor Richard's Almanack, Franklin offers advice on work and money management; and Pennsylvania's Quaker founder reflects on government, education, and religion, along with charity, friendship and patience.
Average Rating:
Rating: -
This little book includes Ben Franklin's advice summarized by Poor Richard -- a fairly brief section. The majority of the book is Penn's maxims, a book of advice and proverbs on almost any topic. Penn's section was more difficult to absorb; the language was more colonial and the advice was less light-hearted than Franklin's.
Great book and very interesting.
